Our story
Three paths. One shared passion. An object born from the love of travel. They didn't travel in the same way. Perhaps that's what brought them together.
One spent his life in the air — transatlantic long-haul flights, sunrise layovers, that unique way altitude has of putting things into perspective. The other preferred the sea: long-distance voyages, time stretching differently when you no longer have land beneath your feet. The third knew only the road — thousands of miles swallowed behind a steering wheel, borders crossed at dawn, the world discovered from a human perspective.
Three ways of leaving. Three relationships with time, space, and the unexpected.
Throughout their journeys, each had developed the same discreet habit: collecting luggage tags. Not out of caprice, but out of an inner necessity — to keep a physical trace of each stage, something you can touch with your fingers that instantly brings you back to a place, a light, a precise moment. A tag brought back from a Mediterranean port. Another found in the lobby of a Tokyo palace hotel. A third acquired in an altiplano market in South America, along an unexpected road.
Together, they formed a silent collection. A personal geography.
But what fascinated them went beyond the journey itself.
Each of them had known those moments — rare, irreducible — where an experience transforms you without you being able to truly explain it.
The idea naturally arose: to make the luggage tag no longer just a simple identifier, but an experience marker.
Some note their travels in a notebook. They, however, attach them to their suitcase and take them with them.
This is how Luggage Tags was born, with a foundational belief: every tag tells a story of a place, every collection tells a story of a life.
Very quickly, through their many encounters and the connections forged by the 3 founders, luxury brands came to them with the same request: create for us what you created for yourselves.
Not a gadget bearing their likeness, but an object worthy of their clientele. Something one receives and keeps. That one takes on trip after trip, because it carries within it the memory of an extraordinary experience.
From this encounter was born a bespoke creation activity — designed for luxury brands (owners of Palace hotels, exceptional airlines, major haute horlogerie brands) who also refuse compromise. Because to offer a luggage tag is to offer one's clients a fragment of the experience lived.
